The main topic of discussion was the organization of an ODI tri-series centered on Pakistan, New Zealand and South Africa, to be held just before the ICC Champions Trophy in Pakistan in February 2025.

was formally agreed upon and warmly accepted by the host nation and the participating member boards. Chairman PCB has also invited Roger Toews and Lawson Naidu to visit Pakistan. Chairman Mohsin Naqvi expressed his excitement about the upcoming event, calling it an important opportunity for Pakistan to host such a tournament after a long gap.
He thanked the NZC and CSA chiefs for their commitment to participate in the tri-series. Chairman Naqvi also expressed his eagerness to host the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, stressing the honor that Pakistan is welcoming the top eight ODI teams on its soil for this prestigious event.
The tri-series between Pakistan, South Africa and New Zealand will be an exciting event and after a long time Pakistan will host such a tournament. I would like to thank the heads of NZC and CSA for agreeing to participate in the tripartite series. The PCB is also looking forward to hosting the BICC Champions Trophy 2025 which will be a great pleasure for Pakistan to host the top eight ODI teams on its soil,” said Naqvi.
