Famous Indian cricketer and former captain Virat Kohli has requested the fans not to call him as ‘King’, he feels ashamed of this title.
Yesterday, Indian Premier League team Royal Challengers Bangalore held a ceremony regarding the team’s new jersey in which Virat Kohli also participated. Virat Kohli along with South African player Faf du Plessis launched the franchise’s new jersey.
According to Indian media, M Chanaswamy Stadium was packed with Virat Kohli’s fans. Speaking to the cricket fans at the stadium, Virat Kohli urged the fans not to call me ‘King’ anymore, just call me Virat, I feel embarrassed when called King.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli was asked how he feels about coming back to the cricket field after the birth of his son.
In response to this question, Kohli said that it is great to be back on the cricket field
