The last three months were difficult for me because I had surgery. I was suffering from a back injury for the last seven to eight months and the doctor also told me to undergo surgery before the World Cup.
But I decided to play the World Cup and after that I underwent surgery because it was a very important event for us but Alhamdulillah I am back on the field. And now I feel perfectly fine and now my focus is on returning to the field and bringing happiness and success, said Rashid Khan.
However, Rashid Khan expressed his gratitude for returning to the field and said that he is eager to represent his country once again. Rashid emphasized his determination to bring success and happiness to Afghanistan through his performance on the field.
I plan to represent the country in the upcoming series and the training is going on and thankfully it has been good and I hope that the next few days will be good so that I can wear the national jersey again and continue my good performance He added.
The series against Ireland consists of three T20 matches, the first match is scheduled on March 15, followed by the remaining two matches on March 17 and 18. All matches will be played in Sharjah.
