ACC Unveils Schedule for 2024 Emerging Teams Asia Cup in Oman
The Asian Cricket Council ACC Unveils just announced schedule for the 2024 ACC Men’s T20 Emerging Teams Asia Cup. It’s gonna happen in beautiful Oman. This is the sixth time for this tournament! It’s set to showcase rising cricket stars from Asia, with eight teams: Sri Lanka A, Bangladesh A, Afghanistan A, Hong Kong, Pakistan A, India A, the UAE, and hosts Oman.
A Competitive Line-up
This upcoming tournament follows up on the exciting 2023 edition that took place in Sri Lanka. Remember? Pakistan A won it after beating India A in a nail-biting final. The 2024 event is all set to keep the excitement going! The best emerging talents from Asia will compete. Five ‘A’ teams from the ACC & three top teams from the ACC Men’s Premier Cup will join together.
The UAE’s team made it by winning in the 2024 ACC Men’s Premier Cup. And Hong Kong reached by defeating Nepal in a thrilling third-place match. So we’ve got a mix of experienced teams & new challengers. That means surprises & awesome cricket ahead!
Group Structure
For the 2024 Emerging Teams Asia Cup, they’ve split the teams into two groups.
Group A: Sri Lanka A, Bangladesh A, Afghanistan A, and Hong KongGroup B: India A, Pakistan A, UAE, and Oman
