Brydon Carse from Durham and Jordan Cox from Essex are the new guys getting a chance. It’s a big deal for them because they might make their Test debuts during this exciting tour. Carse, a fast bowler, & Cox, an aggressive batsman, are looking forward to showing what they can do on an international level.

Back in the squad

They’re both expected to play key roles on the spin-friendly pitches of Pakistan. This shows that England is serious about adjusting to the local conditions.

Josh Hull, a seamer from Durham, is set for his first big tour with England after making his Test debut at Kia Oval. Kent opener Zak Crawley is back too! He’s recovered from a finger injury that kept him out during the West Indies series in July.

Ben Stokes is on the squad as captain but he’s still recovering from a hamstring injury that ruled him out of the recent series against Sri Lanka. His skills & leadership will be really important for the team.
